Global Blocks Missing after update

Since updating to xtheme 8 I am unable to access any of the global blocks. When clicking on theme setting> global blocks it just says “No Global Blocks Found”

I am therefore unable to edit any of my current global blocks

Thanks for reaching out.
I have visited the URL listed in your Themeco Account and found that you are using the older version X (version 8.2.2) theme whereas the Cornerstone has been updated to 5.2.3. The issue you are having might be due to the incompatibility between X and Cornerstone. I would also suggest you follow the below steps while updating the X theme and the Cornerstone.

If you want to use the X version 8.2.2 please follow the below instruction:

1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
2. After deletion of the Cornerstone, please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

If you want to use the latest version of X i.e 8.3.1, please follow the instruction below:

1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
2. Update the X theme to the 8.3.1(which has been released a few hours ago) version on automatic updates
3. After deletion of the Cornerstone, please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

I’m having the same problem with PRO latest version (5.3.2). it’s only reproduceable on sites that come from older versions of PRO or X apparently.

they exist if you know the link, but they are not showing if you go to pro > global blocks

It will be very difficult to recognize the issue without investigating through the admin dashboard. Can you please create a separate thread and provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
