Global blocks in The Grid

HI,
I saw the possibility of inserting “Global blocks” in “The Grid” plugin, but once the “Global blocks” item is selected, I don’t know how to select them. The only solution that seems possible to me is to add them through a category or taxonomy, but in this case how do I add a category or taxonomy to a “Global blocks”?

Thanks for writing in!

Global Block is using a custom post type which is why it is being picked up by The Grid plugin. You may be able to select in the select but nothing will display in your grid. You cannot add featured image on the global block. The grid relies on the featured image to display some images in the grid. We do not recommend using The Grid to display a global block.
