Global blocks in equal height columns

Hi all,

I am trying to get 3 columns to have equal height.
Complication is that I have each of the columns being sourced from a global block.

I have tried both javascript and flexbox methods, but cannot get it to work.

Create Columns with Equal Heights

I am sure its because the global block is also a container > row > column.
Any ideas how I can fix this ?
