?_gl extension on link structure

I noticed after the cornerstone update to the page that it gives me the extension ?_gl= in addition to the standard link.
That link extension shows when i click on any link on my site.
Site is : https://mike.hr/

Example of link:
Standard link - https://mike.hr/o-nama
After update - https://mike.hr/o-nama/?_gl=11u08qtz_upMQ…_gaMTg3NzYzNTgyLjE2NzMyNjQ2MDc._ga_C79SD2DC95*MTY3MzI2NDYwNi4xLjAuMTY3MzI2NDYwNi4wLjAuMA…

Hi Zvonimir,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the problem you described here. The problem you are facing might be due to the improper update of the X theme and Cornerstone plugin, I would suggest you follow the below steps to troubleshoot.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

If that does not help, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

  1. Theme Related Issue
  2. Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update related issue
  4. Child Theme Related issue
  5. CSS/JS Customization
  6. Disabling Cache
  7. Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
I would also request to activate any default theme like TwentyTwenty and check if the issue exists or not, if that exists it means the problem is not related to the Pro. You may need to contact your Hosting Service provider on this.

If none of the above help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

I try all of that but situation is the same.

Hey @Luketina,

I was able to replicate the issue on your website but it is one of your plugins causing it because when I try to deactivate all the plugins except Cornerstone. The URL parameter was gone. That being said, please disable all the plugins except Cornerstone and then activate it one by one to find the culprit.

Here’s the reference link:

Hope that helps.

I resolve problem. It was caused by Google Analytics script.

Hi @Luketina,

Glad to know that you are able to solve it.

Thanks
