Getting some help with Image pre-load at the Modern Events Calendar?

Hi There,
can i get some help with the included Modern Events Calendar (MEC) please?
I have try’d by myself, but doesn’t find any solution for it.

I’ve added a “MEC Shortcode” to my lading page form the Carusel-View, but every time the page loads, the images in the shortcode only from the “Carusel-View” in the pre-load" are sized to width"100%" window size for ~20ms and resize to the original Thumbnail after the page loading is done.

I have search in google with something like “image pre-load size” e.g., but i dont’ really know what i need to searching for.
In the official MEC Forums i also won’t find any Thread about it.

Here you find it, reload it more times in a row and watch for the first image and how it resized from 100% window-width at the “Carusel-View” Slider.

Hopefully you unterstand my statement

Regards,

Hey @Leopart,

I haven’t experienced the issue you described. Please see the the screen recording in the Secure Note. Please clear your browser cache then test again. Also test in incognito mode and other browsers.

Thanks.

Hy @christian_y,
you only load it once and can’t see it fast as it is
Here’s a screencast from some refreshes, look at the bottom of the screen, there you will see the image of the first Event and the red font form “MSE Weihnachtsparty” Flyer

i’ve try’d it with serveral browser and incognito mode, everywhere i saw it.

And here’s a screen what i want to told you

I see now though it happens super fast. Regretfully, there is not way to prevent it because it is dynamic. By dynamic, I mean MEC calculates and sets the width of the columns on the fly. While it is doing that, the columns spans 100%. You’ll need a third party page preloader for that or hire a third party developer to build a custom preloader for you.

Thank you for understanding.
