Getting lots of spam emails from WPForms

So I’ve been getting lots of spam email from WP Forms lately and not sure why

I have Google verification added

I have a single form, with the code installed on 2 pages only:

Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?

I have recently signed up for Hubspot as an email newsletter platform and I have also installed their plugin, which also has Forms to set as a contact form.

Would this be as compatible with Themeco as WP Forms?

Or would I be better off to just stick with WP Forms?

What should I do?

Thanks for writing in!

Please remove your phone number and email address from your contact page because there are bots that collect phone numbers and email address and then it will automatically send you spam.

If you want it to display (phone and email), create an image with the phone number and email address instead. It would be much harder for the spambots to collect emails in an image. With regards to the form, there are also bots that automatically fill up forms and send them. Even if you will use other form plugins, spam emails will still be present. All we can do is to lessen these spam emails. There articles might help you:
