Getting HTTP error in media library when cornerstone is enabled

Hi There

I’ve been having issues trying to upload anything into my media library. Each time I try I get an HTTP error.
When I disable Cornerstone it works but as soon as it is enabled the error returns.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

Thank you for writing in, is the site in question is in https protocol? If so, please navigate to Settings > General and check the WordPress Address and Site Address If it is set to https as well.

Also, do a test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) too, to make sure that this is not a caching related issue.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hi Friech

The site is http:// and I have checked those things. I’ve disabled all plugins and the issue seems to only happen when I enable Cornerstone so I’m not sure what to do for next steps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi Chris,

If it is not SSL related issue, could you please post the exact error message that you’re getting, so that we can assist you accordingly.

In the meantime, please check your PHP version running on your server and make sure to use PHP v5.6.x or later to avoid any incompatibility issues.

Also you can enable WP_DEBUG mode on WordPress by following this guide (https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG), so that you can see more detailed errors when executing.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
