Getting background color behind text

I’m trying to have a transparent background, but whenever I have text, a button or anything else, it places a collor behind it (#fafafa).

I’ve narrowed it down using csshero:

.vc_gitem_row .vc_gitem-col

I can’t get that to be transparent, though I can get it to have a colored background.

This looks like it’s specific to your setup. Is there a chance that you can provide us with the URL of the page in question and point out which text you are referring to so that we can check it?
