Getting a different layout when importing 'Lawyer' demo files

Hi,

Had a design ready based on https://demo.theme.co/lawyer/ , however the layout is off when importing the demo and I can’t seem to apply the right settings. It’s as if some css overrides are missing…

Tried resetting the entire page/deleting all content and did a fresh wp install all to no avail.

Demo is live on https://arborgardens.nl/

Hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction!

Thanks for writing in! I have just installed the Lawyer site demo on our freshly install WP local testing server. We could not replicate your issue. Do you have other content before you have imported the site demo? To better assist you, please provide us your WP access so we can check your site. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site

Thanks for the reply. Already fixed it though, actually still thanks to you … an old reply of yours contained the global css for this demo. For some reason this was missing in the import.

For any future customers experiencing similar issues …

• check if the global css (custom code button at the bottom of cornerstone page editor -> global css) actually contains the css.
• If not, check @ruenel his reply on this thread forum / t / lawyer-theme-side-panel-issue / 78496 (edit the link a bit yourself, I can’t add another link due to forum restrictions apparently ;-)) and copy paste the css code given there into your global css
