Get rid of black X in header?

How do I get rid of that black x in the top right of the header and what is it supposed to be for anyways?

Hi There,

Thanks for asking!

This is a pulldown widget area, where you can add any widget and by clicking on the X icon the area will pulldown.

To disable it please go to X-> Theme Option -> Header in the WIDGETBAR section disable it from the drop-down.
