why does this page have a gap in between the header and first section

It’s coming from the entry content margin. That comes from the stack CSS but this should not happen given the setup is correct and there’s no custom code.
But, we need to check if this is a bug. Right now though, your setup isn’t clear because of optimization. Please deactivate all optimizations including caching and minification so we could clearly read the source code and so we could give you advice on correct setup.
