Gap element and classic gap element not showing up

I have added a gap between an image and a some headline text, it shows up in editing view, but after saving the page and viewing, the gaps do not show up. As you can see from screenshot.

Also, when I go back to edit the page, the gaps drop beneath the headline text?!

I did look through forum and found customers with similar problems, using Pro, but i’m not using Pro.

Can you offer any help/advice.

thank you.

Hi @Stanleypuss,

Thanks for writing in.

In this case, we need to check your setup closer. Please share us your admin credentials in a secure note.

Thanks.

Hey there,

Here is your original setup in skeleton mode.

The Classic gap I’ve pointed in the screenshot is hidden in desktop views.

That might be the gap you’re using why you don’t see it in the front-end but it shows in Cornerstone preview because you’re either using a small monitor or you’re in the tablet responsive view as what it looks like in your screenshot.

Now, I moved one of your Classic Gap above the headline, saved it and it works in the front-end.

Regarding your issue about the gap dropping beneath the headline, you must have dropped it accidentally or that is its original position and the page didn’t save completely hence it staying there.

Thanks.

Many thanks for your help Nico,

my error, did not notice i had clicked “hide based on screen width” option.

best wishes

Ashley
