Gap between Header and first section

This white bar just appeared today on my site, above my first section. Upon inspection, it clearly has something to do with the autoptimizer plugin that I installed this morning to try to combat very slow loading. But when I just noticed the white bar, I deactivated the plugin, flushed the cache, but the white space remains.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your site and the space you see is an empty section in your home page. Please edit your homepage in Pro editor and check for the empty section I believe it’s your first section which is empty and remove it. However I still see the content in your site is being served by the cache, please make sure to clear the cache and deactivate the cache plugin and optimization services.

That’s what I suspected, but for some reason, Pro editor wasn’t showing the section at all. And the editor has been behaving weird for me today, where it remains at this state, with the logo pulsing but the page never showing.

Please activate back that autoptimizer plugin and clear its own caching, then deactivate it again.
Then clear your browser’s cache or view your page in incognito/private mode and see if the white space resolves.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look on the page.
