Gallery integration

Hello!
We need to create a gallery on our website. The modern sliders don’t capture the feel we are going for.

NextGEN Gallery is a plug in, but I don’t see an option to generate a shortcode. Is there any way this plug in is compatible with themeco? I saw in an old forum it was not, but that was a while ago.

I downloaded modula, but when I place the shortcode in a text box, it also created an “edit gallery” button that is clickable and leads back to our Wordpress dashboard.

Hey Ashley,

We do not have official support for 3rd party gallery plugins but if they are coded using development standards, they would work fine.

You need to consult with the developer of the plugins regarding how you can generate the plugin’s shortcodes then you can paste the shortcode in a Text element just like you would in the default WordPress editor.

Regarding the “edit gallery” that you see, please also consult with the developer of that plugin why that link is visible. I don’t see it though. Maybe it’s just for logged in users. Ask the developer of the plugin if that’s a feature of his or her plugin.
