Functional difference when using exported header

My header on my website www.diveintoambon.com home page works perfectly. Scroll down, it loses it’s transparency and the send bar comes up. When scrolling back up to the top the process is reversed.

I exported the header, imported it to my sister website, www.diveintorajaampat.com but it doesn’t work correctly any more. When scrolling down the first time, it works. But then scroll up to the top, it doesn’t go transparent and when you then scroll down it doesn’t shrink…

I’m at a loss at what’s changed. Any help appreciated.

Hey @liquidguru,

Something is preventing or interfering with the header’s shrink script. Though there’s no error in the console, would you mind testing for a plugin conflict? You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If you have custom scripts in place, please temporarily remove them as well.

If that doesn’t work, please give us WordPress Admin access in a Secure Note.

Thanks.

Thanks Christian,

It seems to be a plugin called Formcraft, which creates the Contact Form at the bottom of the page. If I deactivate the plugin or just remove the shortcode from the page, then all is ok.

The strange thing is it works perfectly on my Ambon website - https://diveintoambon.com/contactus/, maybe it’s the transparency that’s causing the problem?

Hello @liquidguru,

It seems that you already have resolved the issue.
