Hello,

I’m trying to optimize my website and I’ve found that there’s code in my function.php file may be slowing down the site. This was placed here for a map that’s no longer being used.
function add_head_script(){
?>




<?php
}

Am I safe to delete this code from the function.php file?
Appreciate your help.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! It looks like an empty function that is doing nothing, so you’re perfectly safe to delete the function from your Child Theme’s functions.php file.
