Full size settings dissapeared

Hi,

my image settings option has disappear when I upload an image to my media folder, I think because I used a plugin to compress images called WP-Optimize, maybe?

However now, I need to access to the full size option as I need to use gifs in my website.

How can I bring back those options?

Thanks
A

Hey A,

Are you looking for the Size option when you select an image for the Image element? If so, it should be there as I’ve tested my site and it’s still present.

The issue in your site could be caused by 3rd party plugins or customization. Before we investigate, we need to know if the issue’s really with our theme and not by external factors.

Please do all the basic troubleshooting procedures mentioned in our Common Issues article here: https://theme.co/docs/common-issues

Only if none helps, copy your site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot without the risk of accidentally editing something in your site.

Please then give us the following info in a secure note.

  • Staging WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP credentials

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Hey There,

I’ve disabled WP-Optimize and the issue disappeared as I am able now to select the Full Size image. Since this seems to be a 3rd party issue you options are either reaching out to the support of WP-Optimize or try a different caching plugin like WP Super Cache which won’t have this issue. Feel free to report back once you’re in touch with their support if you need any help.

Hi,

thanks for the answer. However, when i try to load a gif for my loader panel I cannot change the resolution to full size on my media panel so the gif doesn’t show up. I have it working before but I cannot see the size settings options now. Any advice?

Hi Alejandro,

It seems that you are using a third-party plugin for that and you need to contact the third party plugin developer to get an answer.

You can test by changing our theme to another theme and see if the problem persists this shows it is not related to our theme code.

The other point is that you use the Plugin Loader Filter which might cause the issue as you might misconfigure the loading of the plugin in question.

Please kindly test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi thank you,

I have done that but still cannot figure it out. Anyway, I think it was making the site much slower so I have deactivated.

I have noticed that my h1 font (Mondia a custom font) takes longer to upload than the rest when you navigate the site, do you know why that could be?

Thanks
A

Hey A,

It could be that the font’s file size is huge. Try using a lighter font.

If you have more questions, please post them on a separate thread because the longer the thread gets especially if you mix up topics, the harder it is for us to handle as confusion almost always arise and that results to longer response times which is not good for all customers.

Thank you for understanding.
