I would like to have a full vh video on my page. The video works on larger screens but when it resizes for smaller devices the video display gets very small with large gaps on the top and bottom. I don’t mind if the left and right side are off screen as long as you can still see the middle of the video and it is full screen height. I do not want to use another plugin. Is this possible?

Please be advised that you are NOT allowed to insert Youtube video links as a background video. You will need to upload the video in your Media gallery and then use the http://example.com/.../video-file.mp4
Youtube links or any other 3rd party site video links will create issues in your site. The video will not be displayed properly and will not be treated as a background video. For more details about Video Background, please check out this documentation
