Full Screen Image and Menu Query (2 Q?'s)

Hi

I am like Pro so far (lots of options, but getting there).

  1. I want a home page with a full screen image (no text or content) - and a right hand side menu.
  • What is the best way to achieve this, via adding the image and having no margins/full width etc,

  • Setting the background to the image I want.

  • I don’t want to able to scroll down so the image needs to be contained in the screen

  • Also to have it responsive as there is text on the image I would like to be seen at all resolutions.

What’s the best way to do this?

  1. I am using a Right Hand Side Menu.
At the moment the Menu Items are showing like:

ITEM1 ITEM2 ITEM3
ITEM4 ITEM5 etc

(they fill one line then go to the next) - I want them to be:
ITEM1
ITEM2
ITEM3
etc

Also for sub menus to open below them (like an accordion I guess) at the moment they flyout?

I am guessing this is in the settings or maybe Ubermenu, but I can’t figure which settings I need.

Thanks
Ernie

i want to know this too, with Pro - full screen image. on my page, i want to have the typer writer text over it and the full screen image under the menu.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in!

1.) You can set your navbar to fixed right. And build your page in Cornerstone. You can create a fullscreen section and insert a background image in the section. This will enable you to have responsive fullscreen image. Perhaps you can test out this sample cornerstone template: https://www.cstemplates.com/archives/fullscreen-section-128/

Hi
Thanks for the help, I will try the template provided for the full screen image.

The demo site is:
https://www.hotchilliwebworks.com/ns2/

For the menu I wanted it all black - no grey shading and each item below the other. At the moment the menu fills a line and then drops down.

Also I wanted the sub menu (as under Poultry) to drop down in one column as well.

I have tried a few different settings but am unsure which ones to set, and whether to do it in Pro Headers or through Uber Menu?

Thanks
Ernie

Hi Ernie,

Upon checking Your demo site seems like you already achieved the above described.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you

Hi
Thanks for the reply, yes I sort of managed - somehow!

However:

  • Where to I go to make the `down arrow’ that indicates a dropdown appear on the same line as the main menu text? (at the moment it is below it.
  • Is it possible to have the drop down drop below the menu rather than out like:

Thanks
Ernie

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in!

1.) Please align the sub menu indicator right in your navigation inline settings: http://prntscr.com/fytcpj

2.) It could be but there is an on going bug having that layout where in a 3rd level sub menu can no longer be access especially on smaller screens.

Hope this helps.
