Full-height row

Hi there,

Two questions.

  1. I’d like to make the first section of a page i’m building a full-height section. I’ve built a row and was hoping to find the ‘full height row’ tick box, as per this video https://youtu.be/sP7TLBX4Dq4?t=165 @ 2:45… but this option seems to be missing in the PRO version of VC. Can you assist me with building a full-height section?

  2. Is there a way to manually dictate the height of a section/row?

Thanks
Sam

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! By default the height of the rows and sections are only dependent to the height of the columns which is also dependent to the height of all the elements inserted in the column.

1.) If you want to have a section with a full screen height, please edit the page in Cornerstone and in your row settings, please enable the marginless column option and in the column settings > customize, insert an inline css min-height:100vh; in the style field.

2.) If you want to limit the height of the section and rows just insert an inline css in the style field whether in the section, row or column settings. My best recommendation is to add it in the column settings.

Please also be aware that whenever you set a height like height: 300px, your section, row or column will always have a 300 pixels height across all screen sizes. It is best to use minimum height or maximum height to avoid any further issues in smaller screen sizes.

Hope this helps.
