Full height background is being pushed down by header

I have set

height: 100vh;

On a background image section.

However the header is pushing it down so there is a scroll bar.

How do I get it so the background image just fills the viewport and now over spill at the bottom?

Thanks for writing in! Instead of using 100vh, please use this instead: height: calc(100vh - 200px); assuming 200px is the total height of your header and footer. This code will make sure that the section will fit in your screen having to display the header and footer as well.
