'Full' error dynamic portfolio background

I’m creating a custom layout for my portfolio items.

On the top section, I want the portfolio featured image to be the background. I’ve used forum posts and research to identify I need to use the dynamic {{dc:post:featured_image_id}} as the background image. Which I’ve done. I’ve tried it as both the row background and section background and I just get an error. A 3 figure number followed by the :full - I’ve tried different sized featured images to see, the 3 figure number changes, but the error remains.

Could you please advise how I can use the featured image and just have whatever the featured image is scaled to fit the section background?

To display the featured image as background in the section, just select the featured image in the dynamic content.

Having re-read your post a couple of times, as it seemed very similar to what I’d done, I realised where I was going wrong.

On a slightly different subject, but on that same portfolio page - I’ve used ‘The Content’ element to pull the portfolio detail in. However, there seems to be padding to the left and right of it. Unfortunately, if I click to open ‘The Content’ as an element, there’s no settings for padding or sizing as there would be for other element types.

Can you advise how I can reduce the padding on the left and right of ‘The Content’ block to around 1-2em please?

Hello James,

Regretfully there is no option for setting padding or margin on the dynamic “The Content” element. You can customize the styling through custom CSS code for that you need to learn CSS and learn how to use the browser’s element inspector.
