Frontend does not display Cornerstone preview

Hi, I am building a page with cornerstone but when saving the preview and looking at the live page certain sections are not displayed.

Can you help me figuring out what is wrong here?

I am working with cloudflare but even pausing it, has not changed anything.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that your PHP memory limit is set to 256M which should be alright, but sometimes it requires more memory allocation.

Could you please try increasing your PHP Memory limit by editing your wp-config.php file which can be located under the root of your WordPress installation.

Add the following lines into that file.

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

Also I see that your PHP max script execution time ( PHP Maximale Skript-Ausführungszeit) is set to 30, could you please try increasing it to 120 or a higher value and try editing your page again to see if that resolves your issue.

Make sure to purge your server cache before testing.

Any other ideas?

  • purged cache
  • deactivated cloudflare
  • increased script execution time is set to 300
  • php memory can not be increased by hosting provider. I also do not think that this is the problem because ive another PRO site running smoothly on same hosting and similar settings/plugins. Unless you feel strongly about this?

Ultimately cornerstone does not save certain pages build with cornerstone. just created this page:

However, editing older pages, like the front page, with cornerstone does work. I recently updated themes and plugins.

Hello There,

I can see that you are using an older version of the theme and Cornerstone plugin. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 6.0.4
  • Cornerstone 3.0.4

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
