Front video

Hi,

We have a problem: we want to have a picture on the front of the video!
In Safari (browser) the front of the video is white.
In Firefox + Chrome (browser) the front of the video is black.
See attachment. How can we solved this?

In V2 video element, under setup toggle the Player button and in that you can select the front image.

Hi Carla,

May I know which plugin you use for video shortcode.

You can try adding poster attribute.

eg.

[video mp4="http://yourdomain.com/video.mp4" poster="http://yourdomain.com/image.jpg"][/video]

If that doesn’t work, kindly provide us your wordpress admin login in Secure Note.

Hi again,

I went ahead and fixed the issue for you. You added the above shortcode in the style field that’s why it wasn’t working. I added the above shortcode in the editor by switching to text editor (see screenshot)

I’ve added a dummy poster from your site and it’s working fine now. Please clear your browser’s cache and check the site again.
