Front page image width - desktop vs mobile issue

Hi there,

The width of my homepage is 1000px. I have an image on the frontpage that is 1000px wide and fits perfectly on a desktop. My issue is when I go to mobile. It’s only showing about the third of the image, so is obviously not auto resizing.

Is there a way to autosize this image by default so that it fits to the mobile version?
