Formatting poetry

Many of my client’s blog posts are poetry. There is additional space needed between some of the lines, such as this example: https://michaelvarga.com/poetry/a-camel-traders-gift/

I am using the br in brackets where I need this extra space, but any time I return to the “Personify: Content” element to edit anything, all of the br in bracket codes disappear.

Is there a best practice for laying out poetry in this way? Maybe I need to break up the poem into separate text elements, so I can control the margin between them? That would be really time consuming, though…

Thanks for writing in! You can make use of the Rich Text editor:

If you want to adjust the text heights, use the Format options.

Double click the Text element will give you this:

Press “Enter” key for new lines and press “Shift” + “Enter” for line breaks.
