Format Telehphone Number DC

I am using ACF to capture 10 digit US phone number, so it looks like this 8888675309. I use dc:acf:that_field on a layout to display the number. My question is about formating. I want it to display as (888) 867-5309. How can I accomplish this?

Regretfully, there is no option available to format the value.
