Form Code stoppped working

Hi there, we used to have this form code in the bottom left footer of our home page at e3EnergyEvolved.com and it worked fine.

Recently we got reports that it stopped working and was giving us a Error 640. So I changed it today to another code, which I don’t prefer, to get that form working again, but why would this code below stop working? InfusionSoft said it’s something that happened on the website’s end.

Hi there,

I have replied to your other thread where the issue was, the version of X and Cornerstone of your site are not compatible since Cornerstone was updated while X is not.

Kindly update X to the latest version as well then clear your site’s cache.

I did allof that, and I’m still getting an Error 640 when using the bottom left corner form on our home page to opt-in for our newsletter with this code:

<form class="infusion-form" accept-charset="UTF-8" action="https://yd148.infusionsoft.com/app/form/process/b0c39f2eae348df820e51f4a9cfd99d3" method="POST" target="_blank">
<div></div>
<div class="infusion-field"><label for="inf_field_FirstName">First Name * </label><input id="inf_field_FirstName" class="infusion-field-input-container" name="inf_field_FirstName" type="text" /></div>
<div class="infusion-field"><label for="inf_field_Email">Email * </label><input id="inf_field_Email" class="infusion-field-input-container" name="inf_field_Email" type="text" /></div>
<div class="infusion-submit"><input type="submit" value="Submit" /></div>
</form>

I keep putting the html code in this box for you to see it, but your support forum keeps converting the code to what the writing is, so you can’t see the code I’m trying to share with you here. I hope you can see the actual code I’ve been trying to send you.

Hi There,

Sorry about that, there it shows up now. As you can see the Error 640 is not happening directly on https://e3energyevolved.com/ but on https://yd148.infusionsoft.app/, so this is more likely an integration issue.

Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third-party scripts due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer. They should be able to answer and possibly fix this error for you.

Or integrate the form in another way.

How to Create a WordPress Infusionsoft Form

Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for confirming. Yes - I did contact InfusionSoft first, and they just said there was nothing they could do to help me and they didn’t know why the form wasn’t working. Hence the reason, we are leaving their companies software and moving to another company called Ontraport. Thanks for your help. I’ll put a temp form in there for now, until we get over to Ontraport and can put the new form in.

Glad you’ve sorted it out and thank you for sharing it with us.

Cheers!
