Force custom JS to not run in pagebuilder

Hi wanting to know if there is a setting or function overide we can add to prevent the theme running custom JS page or global on the pagebuilder preview. Reason being as found when creating loops with dynamic text and JS that checks these and then makes changes this seems to really slow down the pagebuilder as each time you add a new element or changes in the loop it seems to run the scripts again adding a few second freeze delay which can understand can be very annoying. Hopefully a setting I have missed or function I can add to just prevent these running as unneeded in page builder most of the time anyways would test in either preview or once page is published more often.

Ok no problem could this be noted as a feature request? Don’t mind if a filter adding to function or an option under dev tools or even a stop button next to the Run button when opening the custom JS editor.
