For some reason, I'm not getting automatic updates for X Theme

Hi,

I’m trying to update X for a client website. It shows that I have “Product Validation” (Yay! Automatic updates are up and running.) I bought this X license through ThemeForest.

The site is currently running 4.2.2. I want to update to latest X as well as set up automatic updates.

As you are using a fairly old version of X , at this time please perform a manual update.

  1. Revoke your License from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.

  1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

  2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

  3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

  4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X tab of your dashboard. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

You lost me at step 1… I don’t see “Revoke your License from X Addons section” on the X Home page in WP.

Also, how do I “remove” it on the My License page on Themeco? I do not see an option for this.

On your themeco license page, hover your domain and you will see an x beside it, click there.

I’m on the https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/ (which pointed me to https://theme.co/apex/licenses) page and hovering over the domain in question… not seeing any X or anything else that indicates deleting it…

My bad, on Apex you have a pencil beside your domain instead of an X , Click there to edit the domain.

So I just deleted the name in the domain. Now it’s blank in the Production line.

Is it now revoked? See attached.

I am having the same issue with my site at wolfpackhearing.com. Xtheme version is 4.3.4. Will I have to follow these steps as well? Happy to wait until OP’s issue is resolved before addressing mine.

Now add it again.

There is no issue, perform the manual update , remove the license from your Themeco license page, add again.

And assign your Purchase code to Wp Admin > X

To perform a manual update follow the steps previously mentioned on this topic.

I did all these instructions and now almost everything works. It’s asking for me to activate my copy of visual composer, do you know why?
