Footer widget areas side by side

Hello,
I am trying to add multiple footer widgets and I want them to be side by side. Right now when I try to add multiple text boxes they end up on top of each other. I tried looking at other topics but couldn’t find anything to solve my problem. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in!

To resolve your issue, please do the following:

  • Go to X > Theme Options > Footer
  • In the Footer Widget Areas, please select “Four”
  • Go to Appearance > Widgets and find the “Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3 and Footer 4” widget areas.
  • Drag a widget into each of the following footer widget areas and your widgets will be displayed in 4 columns.
