Hi, I’m working on a site and the footer is enabled, but it’s not showing. It should be a turquoise colour with the footer menu, social links and content showing, but there’s nothing there and I haven’t got a clue why!
I’ll put the URL in a secure note as it’s on a temp link at the mo.

Thanks for writing in! You need to check few things first.
Head over to X -> Theme Options -> Footer area and see if you have filled footer information and if you need footer widget area, you need to enable it as well.
If you have added any customizations to the theme, you can disable your child theme and also you can remove all of your custom CSS rules and test your issue.
If you’re still having this issue, try disabling your 3rd party plugins and re-test this issue again.
If you’re using a caching plugin, make sure to purge your server cache as well before testing.

Hi, I’m not using the footer widget, but I’d already enabled the bottom footer, footer menu, footer social and filled in the footer content. I’ve only got 4 plugins active and these are:
Cornerstone
Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator
Slider Revolution
White Label
I disabled the plugins apart from Cornerstone, removed the CSS and emptied my cache and refreshed the page, but the footer still wasn’t showing, so I’ve reactivated the plugins and added the CSS back in. I haven’t got a clue what’s going on with it as to why it’s not showing!

Can you please check your page template?
it might be header no footer. If so please change it to header footer template so that the footer will come.

Oh no, that’s so embarrassing, you’re right, I accidentally selected the wrong template! Really sorry about that, at least I’ll know to check that first if it ever happens again!
