Footer not showing in the editor

I’m building my first footer using Cornerstone. I’ve created the footer by copying a footer template (and also tried starting it from scratch). Its outline appears, and I assigned it to the entire website. Nothing appears in the editor. I expect it to appear like a header but at the bottom of the page. It also does not appear on the website. Do I need to enable footers somewhere? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out.
The Footer Builder is only available with the Pro. If you are using X or standalone Cornerstone, the Footer Builder will not be available. If you are using Pro, but still not able to access Footer, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue ** id you have activated it.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hey David,

The reason why the footer is not showing on your homepage is you set the page template to No Container | Header, No Footer. You should change the page template to No Container | Header, Footer.

Hope that helps.

Thank you!

You are most welcome, David
