Footer not displaying correctly (Pro theme)

Not sure what I did but footer no longer appears correctly on every page except home. Background should be black. On every page except home it is transparent. I have one footer for the entire site. I tried clearing cache and viewing on multiple devices and browsers. Footer appears the same way on all.

Hi Angela,

Thank you for writing in, you have only one footer for the entire site, but It seems you have multiple headers. There could be a broken HTML markup or a broken CSS on the header that is set on those secondary pages. Try using only one header, the header that currently set on your homepage, set that as the entire site header.

I know, this sounds does not make sense, but on the frontend, this HTML and CSS are combined, so if you have an error somewhere it is going to affect something on the page.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

That seemed to work but now I am having issues with my layerslider. Navigation buttons show up but do not work.

Hi Angela,

Glad to see the footer is fixed now, I assume you set the homepage header as the global header instead of looking for the broken HTML or CSS.

Can you provide us the direct URL of the page where we can see the Layer Slider issue?

The site Navigation works fine on my end, can you clarify what is the issue.

In the meantime, please clear all your caching plugins including your browser’s cache.

Please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Hello Angela,

I have checked the page and I found out that you have used the Layerslider as a background of the section. Be advised that once the slider is set as a background, you cannot control the slider navigation because it is behind the section. The row, columns and any elements added in the column will sit on top of the slider which is why you cannot use the pagination when using the slider as a background.

Hope this makes sense.
