Footer Has Disappeared

I was checking my site today and it looks like my footer has completely disappeared from all my pages. Any particular reason for this or a way to fix it? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that you have not added any widget into your footer and also you have disabled the Bottom Footer from the Theme Options > Bottom Footer.

So the footer that was on every page initially is now gone. I don’t know if it was a widget or not or if the theme updated and somehow removed my old footer. Any way to get that back?

EDIT: It looks like my old footer is a “Global Block.” Do I need to go to every page and add that footer in? Is there a way to convert a Global Block to a Widget so it can just populate on every page automatically?

Hi @brockburwell,

You don’t need to add that into every page, please add a widget into the Footer and add the Global Block shortcode into it. That will show it into the Footer on all the pages.

Thanks for your response! That’s helpful.

I added in the shortcode to the footer, but it’s formatting is messed up (especially on desktop view) and I can’t seem to figure out how to correct it. Any suggestions?

Additionally, on smaller devices, the background is white surrounding the footer is white and I initially it was the same blue color as the footer. How do I change this?

It seems that the custom CSS code written in the Theme Options > CSS is the reason behind your issue, I would suggest you check and remove the custom CSS code to get rid of the issue.
