Footer Elements

I have questions about the footer elements.

  1. How do I get rid of the shading in the row where the privacy policy is? I put the box shadow to 0 but that wasn’t it since nothing has changed. I want it white so that it doesn’t look like a strip of a different shade from the copyright area.

  2. I tried different ways to get the social icons next to the navigation inline element (where the privacy policy line is) like right beside it but this element always ends up below it no matter what I tried. So I want the privacy policy on the left and the social icons on the right on the same line and flush with the sides of the white area in the Home box above it. I want a space between the privacy policy line and social icons but they are centered within the bar.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Grace,

So we can provide an accurate answer, would you mind providing the URL of the page in question and a screenshot of the area you’re referring to?

Thanks.

My apologies. https://xpro.eagleheartdynamic.com/. Initially, I wanted the website copyright, social media icons, and privacy policy on one line. But I was having the same problem…it would start a new line.

Hi Grace,

  1. You can remove the Box Shadow of the bar that contains the copyright text:

  1. Edit the flex setting of the bar and the container and make sure that the flex option is set to row:

Hope this helps.

Thank you Jade! I will do it later today. I thought I changed the box shadow to 0. Anyway, will let you know how it goes later.

Hi Grace,

Also, if you have a caching plugin, please clear all your caching plugins and browser cache after the changes, so the changes will take effect immediately.

Thanks,

I did clear the cache after I made the changes to the box shadow but it did not change. I will check it again right now. Ok it was 0 for the container but the shadow was still there on the bar. It is correct now…all white.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Grace.
