Footer doesn't look same on all pages

Hey there,

i think my last post was on the wrong place… can someone help with this issue -> https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/footer-looks-different-at-main-page/7937 ?

Hey Pierre,

Your footer width is not the same because of your right padding. Using % in your padding will not give you an exact same padding in all you pages. You have used this css:

.x-colophon.top {
    padding: 3% 0 3%;
    background-color: #CCCCCC !important;
    padding-right: 6%;
}

Please remove the right padding and update the code into this:

```css
.x-colophon.top {
    padding: 3% 0;
    background-color: #CCCCCC !important;
}

.x-colophon.top .x-container.max.width{
    max-width: 1200px;
    width: 100%;
}

And please make sure that your margins and paddings for the other elements inside is in pixels and not in percentage.

Hey RueNel,

thanks for your reply! Changed the code and removed all % and changed it to pixels - now the problem is just reversed. On the Main Page the footer is alright and on all the other sites its different. Some other advices?

Another strange thing - the links at main page footer doesn’t work - all the other ones works as expected…

Hi Pierre,

The issue is being caused by adding a link to the first column.

To fix it, you can add this in X > Launch > Options > CSS


.x-colophon.top a > .x-column.x-1-3 {
    margin-right:4% !important;
}
