Footer border color does not respect hex codes

I have been playing around the border of a Container element inside the Footer Editor.

Usually, both Hex codes and RGB values work anywhere within Theme X, but for some reason, Hex codes do not work for border colors in the Footer Editor.

When using a Hex code it just shows a black color instead of the color it’s supposed to be.

RGB values do work, they show the correct colour. But they aren’t as easy to work with.

Seems like a bug. Possibly something for the dev team to look into?

I checked it on my local test development site. It seems that it is working fine. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
2. CSS/JS Customization
3. Version Compatibility
4. Disabling Cache

If none of those work, please send your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin level username and password

Strange that your version is working, because I just saw a bug fix for this problem in the latest changelogs. Either way, should be fine now.

Yes, on some of the servers the color picker was not working but you can update your theme to the latest version it has been fixed now.
