Footer behavior and hyperlink in Spa Demo template

I installed the Spa demo content, using that for a base template, and have been customizing from there.

I’m having two issues with the footer:

  • When I tried to turn off the Footer Menu in the Customizer, it didn’t work. I ended up unassigning the footer menu location.
  • Now I’ve realized that the entire footer content is hyperlinked and I can’t figure out why or where that hyperlink is coming from.

Can you have a look?
