Everytime I visit my templates->font the fonts have doubled. I saw another post about a caching plugin but I don’t think I have that installed.
Hello @outbackmariner,
Thanks for asking.
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the theme? Can you please try reinstall the Theme and see how it goes? Id the issue persists, please share website URL and login details in a secure note for us to take a closer look.
Thanks.
So, maybe it’s my behavior causing this bug. Styling fonts has completely vexed me. I deleted and reinstalled the theme and the duplicates were gone. But as I was creating a page (Top 7 Air Purifiers) and experimenting it came back. Here’s the scenario
1-When I do a header 1 tag within a content element, it styles it as intended in the templates (larger, red.) When I drag a header element over, and make sure it’s tagged H1, it behaves completely differently. I have added both to the top 7 air purifiers page.
2-It is also when I set this demo up for you and went back to the templates->typography that the fonts were doubled again.
3-related: is there no direct way to style h2 a different color/font? Pro seems to just make it smaller but same color.
So appreciative and sorry if I’m missing something obvious. I’ve left a secure note with a themeco login.

Yes, done, sorry I forgot the domain. It’s now added to the secure note
So, I think part of the problem here is that I misunderstood that Headlines are not the same as the traditional Headings. If I’m using the template manager to assign h1 to a Healdlines, could that be causing the duplication?
Also…Is there no direct way (in the typography manager) to have H2 a substantially different style than H1 (color, font)? Seems like the theme just runs with whatever you had for H1, just smaller. Similarly, where are the Heading Fonts Size managed?
Sorry if I’m dense here, it’s been awhile since I’ve been working with any kind of CSS and learning the Pro theme at the same time has been challenging…
Hi There,
I am experiencing that issue on my local installation sometimes, but not often, this issue is actually on our issue tracker and has been reported as “can no longer reproduce the issue.” on the next upcoming version. If you encounter this issue again just reload the page (command+r on mac / ctrl+f5 on windows).
Classic Custom Headlines element (1h - h6) as you already know they would be all the same in style (except font-size) because that is what traditional Headings are. There font-size is percentage based on the body font-size, so this goes back to the Root Font Size when adjusting there font-size in general, or use a custom CSS when modifying a specific headline font-size.
On the other hand, the V2 Headline element is very stylable, so with this, you can have a different style for each of your headlines. Regretfully, you can not save this style to use it on other headlines, the only option for now is to duplicate the element and change the text leaving the styling the same.
Worry not, on the next release we will have the new Template Manager, which allows you to save a styling of an element and apply to another (same type). This styling is called Presents
Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!
Here’s the deal
-
Refresh does take care of the doubling fonts.
-
Font management is still not working consistently. For example, I have set, Templates -> Fonts -> H1 as Volkhorn, and Theme Options - > Headings -> Typography - > Headings -> H1
…but the headlines still render as Oswald instead of Volkhorn???
Hello There,
I have logged in to your site and disabled the Font Manager for a moment then click saved. I enabled it again and hit save. I refreshed the page and now the font is applied.
Please check your site now.
