Hi support,
I will send you the url and login credentials in a secure note!
I’m using the classic header instead of the header builder in Pro, because the “Navigation Dropdown” element doesn’t play nice in IE11 and on ipad. I will Create a new Topic in Support for this problem later.
So far I have the following setup.
In Templates / Fonts:
Oswald 300, 400 & 700
Work Sans 300
In Theme options / Typography:
body font: Oswald 300
headings font: Oswald 400
In Theme options / Header:
logo font: Oswald 300
navbar font: Work Sans 300
If I load the page and check the source, only the fonts and weights I have used on the a specific page (build in cornerstone) get loaded, but not the fonts set in Theme options / Typography & Header. If I create a section (and hide it) with a couple of text elements using all the required fonts, then then they will load. But this is clearly not a desirable solution.
I need Work Sans-300 for my menu, but not on page content and I need Oswald-300 for the text-logo (this one does load, because it is used on the page). I don’t want to force loading the fonts with an extra request for obvious reasons.
Another side effect of this problem is that on my blog posts the fonts I need for the header obviously won’t show up, because they’re not loaded.
I have tried the following things:
- cleared all cache (and disabled the siteground caching system)
- disabled all plugins
- re-installed the latest stable (???) pro version
- re-installed wordpress and start from scratch
- checked in various browsers (just in case …)
Another thing is that some options are not available in Theme options (for example LOGO LETTER SPACING (EM)) whereas they are in the Customiser, but I read in other threads that you guys want us to use Theme options instead of the Customiser. Earlier I did try setting fonts and other options in the Customiser, but then the font loading got even worse (could not find any logic in the results) and I had to start from scratch to get everything back to this point.
