Fonts are messed up

I was able to force some fonts to work. But menu fonts, footer fonts, even the WP admin bar fonts are all in italics or some random font. Can’t change anything off of “inherit” font.

What’s going on?

Thanks for writing in! :slight_smile:

There are configurations that you just need to set in Customizer.

First, you need to disable the Body Font Italic option in X > Theme Options > Typography.

Then set your Body Font to Inherit.

Regarding the italic font in WP admin bar, you might have added some CSS that changed it. Please check in X > Theme Options > CSS if there is and remove it.

Hi There,

There is some plugin which is adding a extra css for the font,
Now I have overrided it, Now it works fine.

Hi,

We are not sure which plugin, if you would like to know you can removed this code in Theme Options > CSS

body, h1, h2, h3, h4, h3 {
  font-style: normal;
}

Then you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
