Fontawesome 4.7

Hi,

I used to refer to icon this way <i class="x-icon x-icon-linkedin" data-x-icon="" aria-hidden="true"></i>, before X 6.2 (I think). Now it is broken.

See on this page (http://www.wehoop.com/en/apps/hoop-for-the-identification-and-control-of-nonconformities-in-biomedical-laboratories/) at the bottom “Share this APP”.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!
Can you please update the theme to most recent version and let us know if that fixes your issue?

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-

If you already have updated and reverted back to X 6.1.6 and Cornerstone 3.1.6, you still need to clear your caching plugin first before your test your site again. And if you are using W3 Total Cache. What you may have encounter could be just a caching issue.

Please let us know how it goes.

Updated Cornerstone and Theme X to latest 6.2.3 and still doesn’t work. Could you specify exactly HOW should I do this?

<i class="x-icon" data-x-icon="&#xf082;" aria-hidden="true"></i> for Facebook icon display a square :frowning:

Hello There,

It appears that you already have updated to X 6.2.3 and Cornerstone 3.2.3. Please log it to your WP dashboard and clear the cache of your Autoptimize plugin. This plugin is loading a cached version of the older theme. You will need to clear the cache and regenerate its cache so that the latest version of the CSS is loaded.

If that does not help, please provide us access so that we can investigate further.

Thank you.

I did everything you asked, but problem still there. I’ve inactivated cache plugin (Autoptimize). What’s next? Could you confirm how to display Facebook and Linkedin icon using x-icon class ans data-x-icon please.

It wok for the envelope icon and used to work for FB and Linkedin too.

Thanks,

  • Pierre

Hi there,

The branded icons are now under a new attribute. Try using this:

<i class="" data-x-icon-b=""></i>

And just be sure to copy in the entity that you want to use.

Thank you @alexander. Finally working.

You’re welcome!
