Font Weights Mixed up or reversed

Hello,

I ticked some unticked font weights in my custom font in font manager and now the font weight 100 - Ultra-light, is heavier than font weight 200 on my homepage. Why is that?

They were the lightest at 100, but I’ve changed them to 200 (which now looks the lightest) until I resolve this issue.

I need the text on the homepage to be the same weight as the logo word “CONSTRUCTION”

Thanks for writing in!

On your homepage, you added a text element and inserted this:

<p><strong>BLACKHAUS</strong> CONSTRUCTION <br />
is an architectural home building specialist with a drive for perfection and a lifetime of experience and knowledge.</p>

Removing <strong> tag around the BlackHaus text will make the text display with the same font weight. You may need to update it and use this:

<p>BLACKHAUS CONSTRUCTION <br />
is an architectural home building specialist with a drive for perfection and a lifetime of experience and knowledge.</p>

No, I want that word Strong in order to match the logo.

If you are able to delete or obscure the company name I’d appreciate it - I’d prefer people searching the name not stumble on odd forum posts.

What I mean is when I specify 100 Ultra-Light font for all the page text, it is heavier than 200-Thin.

I think I found the problem though…is it because the files I uploaded are mixed up or have I incorrectly loaded them in font manager?

I’ll try to edit the font manager weights and see if this gets 100-Ultra Thin looking lighter than 200-Thin

Hi Robert,

You correctly recognize the issue, the uploaded font file may not loading the specific font you are trying to use. I would suggest you delete the font files and upload them once again to check if that is working or not.
