Font family not working

Hi there,

I noticed that when I uploaded my .woff2 file for the font

The font family such as Regular, Medium, Semi-bold, etc… doesn’t work

I noticed that only Bold works

What should I do so the rest work?

Please let me know!

Kind regards,
Kate

Hi Kate,

Thanks for reaching out!

I suggest that you also upload the Regular, Medium at Semi Bold .woff2 files in order for them to work.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

How do I do that? I don’t understand

Hi Kate,

Does your custom font have different files for each font weight? If so, you need to upload all of those files and set the weights on the font manager properly

Font Manager

And make sure you clear all your caching plugin and feature if any.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Thanks,

Hi Friech,

Sorry for the late reply

I have added the rest of the font family as u can see here: https://prnt.sc/13022zt

But it messed up the font and It doesn’t even load properly, please watch the video:

Hi Katarina,

Thank you for that screencast. Did you reload that builder preview before you try to use that custom font?

Please provide us login credentials in a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

And please let us know what is the name of the custom font that you need to use and share the font files if it’s not available on the Media Library yet.

Cheers,

Yes, I did reload and cleared the cache

I have uploaded the font again to the media library, it is called “UNW Sans”

Here’s my login info:

Hi Katarina,

It seems the rest of the subset was not added properly. I went ahead and added those and now it is showing in the list.

Pro (8)

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Yes, but the font did not load properly and font family is not working as it should

please watch the video down below

Hi Katarina,

Thank you for the credentials, I have investigated the issue and unfortunately, I did not find what is the issue with the UNW Sans font that you define. However, when I redefine that font (see UNW FONT) it works perfectly (see screenshot below).

I saw that you have 3 font files on your media library that are not readable on the Font Manager, I suspect you use those when you define the UNW Sans and those seem to be not a true woff files.

The two font files UNW-Sans-Regular.woff and UNW-Sans-Medium.woff that was uploaded two days ago are the ones that work.

Note, I did not see the bold variant of this, only the Regular (400) and Medium (500)

Hope that helps,
Cheers!

Hey Friech,

I have figured it out how it works now! Thank you for the help

You the best

Kind regards,
Kate
