I am trying to add some font-awesome icons to the Top-bar in Pro. Can I not place these using the html as below?

Thanks for reaching out.
You can add the icons manually, but you may need to use the specific data-x-icon attribute to get that icon rendered. Like: I have added the code <i data-x-icon=""></i> in menu item and the Bulb icon shown.
