Why would all font awesome icons show as an x always? Ive tried a lot of icons and they all show up as that including something as common as [x_icon type=“facebook”]
I have the settings enabled inside misc.

Please make sure that you are using the correct quotes in your shortcode.
The correct shortcode should be: [x_icon type="facebook"]
