Follow-up Emails not working since upgrade

Hi,

I was wondering if you heard of any issues with follow-up emails not working after the latest upgrade?

I am using the plugin WP Mail SMTP with the sendgrid option selected.

Hey Ashley,

We haven’t received conflict reports with WP Mail SMTP so you need to test if Pro is causing the issue first. If you’re using a child theme, please switch to the parent theme and test if the issue persist. If it’s fixed, there’s most probably a custom code in your child theme that is causing the issue. You’ll need to contact a third party developer to fix the custom code for you.

If the issue persists, please switch to the default WordPress theme. If the issue persists at this stage, it’s possible that’s there’s a new bug with the WP Mail SMTP plugin. Please contact the plugin author for assistance.

If the issue is fixed after switching to the default theme, please do the following steps to ensure there’s no third party factor causing the issue before we proceed with deeper investigation.

  1. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. If you have used Javascript snippets in your site, temporarily remove them from areas where you’ve added them. Usually, they’re in Theme Options > JS. They could also be in widget areas.
