Fixed header problem when scrolling

My header is fixed (which I want) but when I scroll, the header will not return to its original position before scrolling which mean it covers some content that may be needed.
I am using x.theme Renew - light and there is a mixture of my own customisation as well.

I considered adding an extra margin to all my pages but then upon loading, there would be a large gap which will confuse visitors on initial visit.

Can support on how I can fix this so that the when the user scrolls back up they will see all the content rather than some of it being covered buy the header.

Thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind providing your site’s URL? I checked your account and the sites are different than your screenshot.

For the meantime, if you’re using the default header, please go to Theme Options > Header > Navbar > NAVBAR TOP HEIGHT (PX) and increase it equal to your header height. This allocates the header height once the header switched to fixed positioning.

Thank you… so simple. My code was clearly fighting with each other. I guess that’s the danger when you edit a already established theme.
