Fixed backgroud image position on parallax effect on Pro

Hi,
I found an identic topic about this effect but the user was on X and I am on Pro, I followed the instruction of the staff but it didn’t worked. So, I wonder how to make this effect on Pro : Example: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryhow_css_parallax_demo.htm
Thanks

Hello Matt,

Thanks for writing in! Either you use the X theme or the Pro theme, the parallax feature in the section settings is present. Please create a new page and insert your sections. In one of the sections, enable the background options and then insert your background image in the Lower Layer.

You enable the parallax feature and set the necessary for the feature to be applied to your section.

Best Regards.

Thanks,
Maye be it took time from my side to get the parallax responsive, but now it works. I boxed in red size and position, I wonder why I can’t see on a list the choice I can use? Thanks again.Screenshot_33

Hi Matt,

There are no dropdown choices on that option, you need to provide the actual value in order for it to work. To fully understand what is background-size and background-position, please check the articles below.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

I’m still not clear on this. The W3 example (and others I’ve seen) have the background image fixed; it does not scroll up, while other components move up to reveal another image. None of the settings I’ve tried seem to give this effect.

Hey @mcaravaglia,

At this time we kindly ask that you open up your issue in a separate thread along with your URL if the page in question needs credentials. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off-topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.

Thank you for your understanding.
